‘volée’ is an understated LED task-light created by Italian designer odo fioravanti for fontana arte. the poetically utilitarian design is a representation of the environments, tools, furnishings, and attitudes common to contemporary workplaces around the world. the light is available in table and wall-mounted iterations, both of which are activated without touch using a simple waving hand gesture.

a simple gesture turns on the touch-less lamp
a new-generation LED board allows ‘volée’ to provide a soft light that can be set to three intensities via a touch sensor at the head. the lamp is constructed using extruded and die-cast aluminum cylinders and spherical sections. ‘volée’ is suitable for any environment from the home to the professional work environment.
