'walking chair happy landing' at MAK, austria

‘walking – chair happy landing’ is the first start up presentation which is shown at the MAK design space under a cooperation by MAK and departure entitled ‘design new strategies’. the series presents experimental and innovative austrian ideas in product, furniture, and industrial design.

ron arad who curated the show at MAK selected design group ‘walking-chair’ as one of the design groups. crucial for his decision was the experimental character of the prototypes by duo karl emilio pircher and fidel peugeot. objects featured include a newspaper stand, desk and bar interior.

the exhibition will open on april 15 and continue until june 1, 2009.
