wood melbourne, much like the material, has grown naturally. each individual product of the company is designed and made by hand in founder oliver maclatchy’s workshop. their signature timber spouts provide a warm, sustainable, and organic alternative to their traditional predecessors. the range of bathroom accessories now includes square handle taps and square shower heads in brass or chrome. the components used for each item are reclaimed lumber that go through a 12-step process including de-nailing, sanding, and waxing. this sequence makes sure the finished results are unique in aesthetic, but uniform in levels of exceptional craftsmanship and quality.

with the brand’s second range of works, they have continued their focus on bringing out the pure beauty of raw materials. the collection utilizes hand-poured concrete and includes round and square taps and a slim-line vanity basin. this deliberate use of an aggregate mixtures has been selected to complement the timber of the other pieces or as stand alone items that bring strength and simplicity to the home. following this principle of refined elegance and clean lines, brass spouts have also been developed.
