  • “the ranking aims to provide additional data and insights to economists and journalists regarding the state-of-art in design industry.” – Sorry it is totally untrue. If you are an economist you’ll immediately will question the data value shown in this “ranking” because it is based on something that is more about individuals in the launchpad of their career who search for trophys in One international design competition to show in their Curriculum, rather than of countries having contributed to the design indstry e. g.: Urugway has better ranking than Denmark or even Sweden! Of course! Uruguay has literally no industry, so designers are from this country are more likely to go abroad so they are participating in international competitions to put their trophy on their resumee and to attract attention and be hired, but it is in no way shows country rankings in design practices! This is a unilaterally stochastic analysis deprived of any economic and sociological data-crossings thus has no value for serious studies.
