for the occasion of paris fashion week, designers george yabu and glenn pushelberg of yabu pushelberg have unveiled their ten-storey installation in the iconic luxury department store of le printemps in partnership with UUfie.

coinciding with le printemps’ recent lobby redesign, the installation is reminiscent and an homage to the store’s original stained glass domes from 1894. the delicate form – like a sheet of paper – is punctuated with petal-shaped, dichroic glass pieces and creates a constantly changing setting within the vast atrium. forming a focal point within le printemps, visitors can constantly catch glimpses and simultaneously, the light filtered from above, reacts within the volume to result in an ever-shifting, vivid play of light.
