the ‘facet’ line of bags by maryland-based designer yingxi zhou consist of angular structures that are influenced by origami forms. the malleable shapes are made from maple veneers and fabrics to create a series that is well-suited for storage and shipping when folded, and serve as a useful geometric container when not. each of the pieces from the range can be broken down to lie flat, and the fashion accessories are also available in a variety of different colors and sizes.
