josep ruà and nelly domínguez of spanish design team yoyó-creativo has created the packaging for a collaboration between brands missoni and havaianas, called ‘missoni loves havaianas.’ this limited edition shoe features a case that mixes missoni’s signature zig-zag pattern with the materials of havaianas colorful flip-flop. produced in partnership with 5 rooms agency, packages which will be distributed to havaianas shops across europe from london and paris, to valencia and saint tropez.

the designers explain: ‘we treated this project like a work of art, and the final product means to embody the spirit of this collection with a fresh and daring mixture of colour that retains exclusiveness. we find missoni’s fingerprint in the shape of geometrical shapes made of color strings, accompanied by a methacrylate heart and the label name.’
