zbigniew strzebonski: loft evo chair and table collection

‘loft evo chair and table collection’ by zbigniew strzebonskidublin-based designer zbigniew strzebonski has conceived the ‘loft evo series’. originating as a concept from the analysis  of the archetypal chair, the form is then elevated into a comfortable and versatile piece of contemporary furniture.  first debuting at the stockholm furniture fair in 2011, the ‘loft chair’ has since then evolved into a sculpturally refined  version with improved ergonomics and a more simplified manufacturing technique.

strong lines and broad curves create pieces with the versatility and presence to sit as well on a patio as around a dining table. included alongside a coffee and side table, the series provide a new take on the adaptability of classic bent tubing furniture. available in seven colors and an additional seating pad, the chair aims to pursue well considered design through the use of minimal geometric shapes and composition.

the ‘loft evo chair’ was originally featured at the designboom mart during the stockholm furniture fair in 2011. for a chance to participate in the upcoming 2012 tokyo designboom mart visit the call for entries here.
