Koo Jeong A: Ousssmos
Koo Jeong A brings three decades of work to Leeum Museum of Art for OUSSSMOS, her largest solo exhibition in Korea to date. The show draws together recurring elements from across her practice, including phosphorescence, skateparks, scent, and magnetism, tracing how she has used barely perceptible forces and large-scale installations to alter the way a space is sensed.
The exhibition extends beyond Leeum’s M2 gallery into the museum’s lobby and less expected spaces, with works appearing behind walls and among historical objects. These interventions lead into OUSSS, the conceptual universe Koo has developed across her practice, where familiar surroundings can shift through changes in light, smell, movement, and invisible fields.
