MAKE IT MAKE SENSE — German Design Graduates 2026

MAKE IT MAKE SENSE presents 71 graduation projects from 28 German universities at Die Neue Sammlung – The Design Museum in Munich. Spanning product and industrial design, communication and digital design, textile and fashion design, the exhibition explores how a new generation responds to social, technological and ecological change. Rather than organising projects by discipline, four thematic clusters examine how design can empower, experiment, structure and sustain. The exhibition architecture by ttal is based on material reuse, while an accompanying programme connects graduates with culture, research and industry. German Design Graduates is an initiative of the German Design Council Foundation.
