The Saudi International Handicrafts week, also known as Banan, launches its third edition with broad international participation.
The third edition of the Saudi 'Banan' Handicrafts Week 2025 has opened in Riyadh, bringing together over 400 artisans from more than 40 countries, with China as Guest of Honor. Held during the Year of Handicrafts 2025, the event highlights Saudi cultural identity and supports global craftsmanship. The Chinese Ambassador visited his country’s pavilion, praising the live demonstrations by traditional artists. The children’s zone, 'Banan Story', attracted wide interest with its creative, educational activities. “Banan” is considered a leading regional platform celebrating traditional crafts and strengthening the cultural and creative industries.
