‘diesel cats’

for their new advertising campaign diesel once again dares to be different with an enigmatic black and white campaign that’s full of unnerving tales.

continuing the cinematic ‘split screen’ style of the previous print work, the spring/summer 09 edition contrasts vulnerable diesel-clad figures with related images that are mysterious, disturbing and darkly surreal.

the work renews the partnership between the diesel creative team, led by creative director wilbert das, and the acclaimed swedish agency farfar. the photographer is john scarisbrick and the stylist karin smeds. the campaign was shot at the 1896 studios in brooklyn.

this season the connection between print and online is stronger than ever. it merges diesel products with entertainment in a seamless package. the website hosts online films that explore the universe of the print campaign. the videos are open to a million different interpretations.
