When an obvious every day object seems odd or unusual, the user's curiosity sparks. Illusion triggers a curious mind to be drawn to observe. With that notion in mind, the design uses faceted surfaces as a mean to create an optical illusion of depth and perspective, making it appear three dimensional from the side view. The chair is made of a single piece of molded plastic, the lightweight and tapered design allows it be stackable. The 2D Chair is a design that reminds people to take a step back and see things from a different perspective, a wonderful way to find muse and inspiration.
