A meal without wine is like a day without sunshine

designer's own words:

‘A meal without wine is like a day without sunshine’. - Anthelme Brillat Savarin

The intension was not to hide the true identity of the object but to celebrate the wine bottle by recycling them into an accent light fixture on the dining table.

The red colored resin and electrical cable are mimicking the wine that the bottle had serve in the first place. (In the case of white wine, the resin and cable are yellowish)
