designer's own words:

I become words named "ATSUMARI" when I translate "party" into Japanese.
"ATSUMARI" is the meaning that people gather for.
There is relation in an individual and a group in a party.
Movement of various people is regarded as one of the fun to have of a party.
I give each one "light" to show this fun more visually.
I suggest the party accessories that a state of movement of the light to carry expresses a party.
Therefore I use the chopsticks which are a basic item at a Japanese party.
Chopsticks have a function (I pick it up and sandwich it and hold it and ladle it and tear it and pick it up and tear it off and can support it and wrap it and cut it and carry it and mix it) of 12 ways, and it is the Japanese special culture that can eat a thing of various kinds.
The chopsticks have been thought about as part of the human body from old days by there being chopsticks and a person in a pair.
Movement of light tells it about existence of the person who is there by burying light in the chopsticks, and system is such that a number / size of light teaches size of a group.
Light is emitted with LED had built-in earlier of chopsticks, and lips of an eating person and cooking serving are lighted up.
This LED is always charged in a chopstick case put on a table with charge type.
A party participant takes chopsticks individually from there and carries it.
I use the plastic material which I am white, and is mat with some roughness other than a glittering part of chopsticks and can give you an impression of feel of a material of a Japanese traditional candle.
