(1)
…….ashes to ashes, water to water……

60-70% of human body is composed of water. Hence when we leave the world, we can return to, instead of dust, water. With appropriate green technology, the water and other matters from our remains can still contribute to the environment – i.e. we can continuously care for the ones we love and better the world at large.

(2)
…… death is only a horizon and a horizon is nothing save the limit of our sight…..

Conceived as a link between different worlds of the living and the dead, water can transform the way and experience how we remember our loss.

Water from the cremation process shall return to a natural stream, and then peacefully rests in the Lagoon of Repose before returning to the biggest water – the ocean. The pool reflection suggests that there are different horizons and appeace us that the departure is neither absolute nor eternal. Below the Lagoon, a glass enclosed space – the Reef of Relief provides a soft and light-filled setting for coping bereavement. Images and information of the departed shall be crystallized in the Pearls of Presence for remembrance.
