The aim of our project is to make the structure of the kitchen lighter.
A modular system of frames, using aluminium profiles manufactured for industrial or technical application.
Using profile’s geometry it is possible not only to build the core module, but also to set up all the elements (tracks, hinges, drawers.. ) necessaries to make functional the furniture.
A flexible structure, easy to be set up, and taken down, for post use recycling.
The system that we propose to decorate the frames is based on the use of an adhesive manufactured by 3M, called Dual Lock System, a reclosable fastening system. This system gives a vast freedom of choice of the panels to apply on the frame, that can be easily changed.
In the proposal that we submit we used a range of recycled plastic panels, but given the ease with which you can fix the panels on the frame, it is possible to use any kind of material.
