blooming senses by fraser ross from uk

designer's own words:

a collection of organisms as an interactive research study. each organism performs a morphing effect through interaction with living senses.

The senses and their operations are based on theoretical studies by a variety of perceptions. each sense is the physiological capacities within these organisms that provide inputs for perception. the inbuilt nervous system of each organism has a specific organ, dedicated to each sense, the mechanisms and capabilities are reflected in different organisms.

organisms are formed through the development of new skin materials linked with shape morphing technologies, using plant resins and naturally occurring composite materials to allow organic dimensions and movement.
