designer's own words:

Recently, there are a lot of eco-friendly designed products. Energy saving is not just a short-term trend, but an important issue that the mankind should continuously concern. Therefore I decided to design a product that has high energy efficiency, and also a natural -like exterior. The motive of the shape is a moment of reeds in the wind. And it has a concept that uses solar energy as a main power supply. Bottom part of the product is a shape of a curved plate. Moreover, it also has a solar panel to save up energy for later. Putting a transmitter at the bottom of the waterdrop shaped part to make the energy flow possible. The charged lights can be detached from the body and can be used alone. The connection part is made with magnetic to be able to stay still when the light is away from its body. As this light is made with flexible material, users are able to form it by themselves. A touch sensible on/off button is on the middle of the aluminum part of stem.
An obscure acryl cover of the light makes a comfortable lighting, but when users want it brighter, they also can detach the cover to make it brighter. This light is not going off right away when charged energy is gone, but dimming slowly as the energy decreases. Put it back onto the body to recharge. Lastly, this light can be separated by six pieces, so that way users can efficiently choose to use depends on how much they need. For example, when an user wants only two lights, he can take two pieces of light and the piece with the power switch. The piece at the bottom has a power switch to control power of this light overall.
