The idea inspired by the double-decker public bus and the loft beds in Youth Hostel. “Be different” is the main emphasis in Teenage Culture. The so-called “well designs” in mainstream are always refused by teenage. This design tried to have more concern on the function and usability in the daily lives of teenage. Metal pieces, tubes framework and wire net are the main material applied in the furniture system.
Chair Systems
The chair system shapes like a 3-step-stair which provides different levels and positions for sitting. Teenage like to challenge the existing rule, “why I have to sit on a chair?” and “why not......” This 3-step concept aims at providing the most possibility for the users; people can sit, stand, and lie down, even hang on the furniture. At the same time, the concept of open system can greatly improve the relationship and communication between several users.
Storage Systems
The furniture combines with plenty of storage space to teenage very suitable to the people love sport and outdoor activities. Maximum of equipments can be stored in the furniture, such as coats, helmets, shoes, football, a ski board, even a bicycle.
