Continuity through Space

designer's own words:

both parts are designed symmetric so either on can be oriented left or right. in addition, the flow through gesture is maintained regardless if its a knob-handle, handle-handle or knob-knob configuration. prototype was made in cast aluminum, but high quantity production runs could be manufactured in injection molded plastic for a lower cost alternative.
