designer's own words:
decanter through its reduced form and simple interaction, allows people to make a clear connection thorugh an everyday object. Highlighting the special aspect of sharing whilst eating and drinking together.
The form of the design allows two people to hold the decanter simultaneously whilst passing it from one to the other, making this connection between them clear.
It is produced by slipcasting porcelain which enables a reduced but distinctive form, that is particular to this production method.
