Dinner4+

Dinner4+ by Bettina Nissen from uk

designer's own words:

The idea of Dinner4+ was inspired by the Lazy Susan, a rotating tray placed on top of a table to aid moving and serving food, often found in Chinese restaurants. Whoever used a Lazy Susan before knows that it makes the handling of different components of a meal much easier and even adds a little fun to the dinner.
Dinner4+ captures these qualities and provides more order to the table via its modular ceramic bowls that are placed on a turned wooden tray. The tray holds the ball bearing that provides smooth rotation. With a gap in the middle Dinner4+ still leaves enough space on the table for essential dinner accessories, e. g. good bottle of wine, lovely flowers or romantic candlelight, and can be equally used in private or commercial settings.
