Project title:
Lightning System by Means of Human Energy.

Eclipse is a lightning system that works by means of human energy. One of Eclipse’s innovative aspects is its sustainability. This product was designed taking into great account the environment.

It uses a fully renewable source of energy, which is generated by the user, and does not rely on any other type of chemical energy or polluting agents.

This device generates light for outdoor activities in places where there is no electricity available. It also gives users the possibility to protect themselves from climatic factors, like the sun during the day or the dew in the evening.

Eclipse works with stored energy generated by manual movement. A gentle back and forth movement activates a motor that provides enough energy to light 6 leds located at a height of 2 m and charge capacitators for later autonomous use.

The maximum autonomy is 45 minutes of light after 5 minutes of charge, i.e. 1 minute of charge generates 8 minutes of light. Capacitators can be charged prior to use.

The product’s design is innovative, since it is easy to carry and adapts to different terrains and situations. It can be carried and put into operation by just one person. It is made of carefully-selected light and resistant materials, as well as standard parts on the market so as to reduce costs. The user interface of the product is universal, practical and versatile.
