Electrolux Smiley is a happy washing machine. It is a "happy-design" product,
especially for young people who like fun in products around them.
The machine has a "normal" drum inside, only ist axis is 30 degrees slanted. This way the machine
uses less water, than nowadays machines, and in the slanted drum the clothes move better, so the
cleaning itself is more efficient.
The design is absolute simple, the big sphere (70cm in diameter) covers the machine, and the
"eyes" hold the control-, and program buttons. From the wiewpoint of 160-170cm tall person
the machine really looks like as it was smiling. This effect is intesified by the
smiley-evocative colour.
This machine has been designed for the future, when the flats and products will be more specified
to the buyers, users requirements.
