designer's own words:
teenagers are in transition. they need control and the power to make choices in their lives. the Escape Pod provides a small personal sanctuary where teenagers adjust their level of interraction with others to suit their mood. the internal lining of the Escape Pod is lined with soft upholstery concealing pockets so a teenager can customise the space with special personal objects like phones, music players or pictures. the spehrical pod sits within a cradle which allows it to be rotated freely in any direction.
