Throughout the history of mankind, stars have been watched in search of guidance and enlightenment. For this project, stars served as the key inspiration in an effort to bring relief to those who suffer the loss of a loved one. We propose a new funeral experience after the cremation process that involves both an urn-niche system in which ashes will ascend to become part of a whole, becoming a shining star sharing a same universe. In this way, mourners may find comfort when visiting their loved one by looking up to the stars to find the strength they need to overcome their loss.
