This door is a simple happy door. It wants to bring this fun an informal feeling into the environment. The “fun” is happening within the room, in the back side of the door, which we are frequently ignoring. Usually this side does not receive any special attention.

Since people have often the tendency to lay or hang things on the door, this project offers the opportunity to integrate this informal function within the door in an organized manner and with a big smile.

The door is designed to be made out of laser-cut, bent plywood with laminated colored formica.
