My initial idea came from the emergency services. In particular the firefighters. Coming from a small town I know many people in the fire services and was able to talk and converse with them about the idea of having a unique light that could be used in helping people escape from a building. I questioned 2 firefighters and asked them about my ideas etc. The first step after I gathered my information was to draw up ideas and sketch out the idea. I then made a CAD model and took it from there to what you see in the images.
