designer's own words:

handles hands.

the handles and clocks share the aesthetic of the mechanical movement: both enhance the beauty of the precision of a mechanical movement. handles like hands communicate their position in the functioning of the mechanism. the handles of today have more angular positions they must assume and in each of these they must notify the accuracy of the mechanism and, at the same time, the beauty of the object. the mechanism of "dry keep" (dk) needs up to 5 positions of the handle: it was a revolution for an object that we used to see always in only two positions. the dk forces us to think to the handle like an object that is good in all angular positions and in motion. for this reason, the relationship between clocks and handles today it seems very contemporary and classic in the same way. this scenario opens new horizons in the aesthetics of the handles that can draw from the design of the hands, from classical to modern. in addition our project show the charm of overcoming the untouchability of the hands of a clock and a pleasure that overshadows the importance of ergonomic handle itself. the shape of the hand communicates ease and lightness of movement, quality of mechanical accuracy of the product, customizing finishes that belong to the lifestyles of watches that you recall
