designer's own words:

Green Clothes.

Everyone of us is an energy plant. A small example: Every day, we consume about 2000 calories, we actually use only 20% of that for our activities. This corresponds to a capacity of about 15 watts per hour which is enough to illuminate a small light bulb for the same duration. We asked ourselves whether the energy of each human can be globalized so that all of us can benefit?

Our idea: Green Clothes. They are to continuously collect and store electricity from light, heat and movement. They are to be clever and use the available energy.

Our questions to scientists and industry: How could the textile of the Green Clothes be made capable of collecting the available energy? How could the energy stored in Green Clothes be released into the global network and be made available to everyone? Perhaps with piezoelectric and energy storage qualities - smart materials?

Our Vision: With Green Clothes everyone will be a part of the global energy network and will make a valuable contribution to the environment.
