The half spoon is a result of looking at modern day lifestyles and how design can be used as a means of promoting a healthier lifestyle within the home.

The half spoon design uses an element of humor to help encourage people to cut down on their sugar consumption.

The spoon comes in three designs a vertically cut left and right-handed version as well as a horizontally cut version.
