The project is a proof that up-cycling of wastes need not be aesthetically and functionally inferior to any other products. The lamp is made up of industrial waste and paper pulp, where as in the table the objective was to prove that paper can be used to make a strong support just by appropriate placement of the paper. The manufacturing cost is less since it is made from easily available materials. Also it can be noted that the design is Eco- friendly and Sustainable.
