Hanging Twist

Hanging Twist by davide marin from italy

designer's own words:

The idea for this design came after looking at some clothes hanging on a balcony in a small town near Venice where I live.
I decided to create a design for a lamp using Oled in which the panels where looking like clothes hanging on a rail. giving a morbid, familiar look to a modern lamp. The big clothespins add a nice and fun twist to the overall look.
This design uses 12 200x50 Flexible Oled panels, arranged in 6 pairs.
The structure is powder coated aluminum sheet metal bent into shape, bi adhesive neoprene as spacer. The clothespins are injection moulded and the cables connect the rail to the transformer.
