designer's own words:

Alongside the constant development in conventional medicine there is resurgence in the use of medicine from natural sources. Not as part of a new trend but as recognition in the benefits of combining the ancient methods with modern ones

Herba is a 4 piece set for extracting medicinal herbs:
The “olla”- for the brewing and infusing of herbs.
The “lacus”- for tincturing herbs in alcohol or oil.
The “fumo”- based on the “Bain-marie” for cooking herbs over law heat steam.
The “cribo”- for separating the extract from the waste.

The Herba is mostly made out of “Pyrex” (a heat and fire resistant glass), but includes ceramic and silicon accessories. The set uses all parts of the plant: seeds, leaves, bark et cetera.

The Herba provides functional, aesthetic and enjoyable experience for whoever wishes to extract medicinal herbs.

This set is inspired by lab tools, kitchen tools and ceremonial tools. And made out of glass, so that the extracting process visuality, its function area and natural colors are emphasized.
