jagged house

by SN from india

designer's own words:

Jagged house derives its form and character from craggy terrain in Arzoun, (Lebanon). Internal spaces swerve either towards the valley for panoramic views or dip away from it to create private courts set against rocky outcrop. Stony plinths and retaining walls emerge from the topography and appear to weld the building to the ground.
