The spoon cup provides a portable and yet elegant solution for the disposal of a used tea bag. To this end the tea cup includes its own spoon which is merged with the saucer so as to facilitate both a mechanism for extracting the tea bag and storing it under the cup out of sight. The intended materials are bone china for the cup and injection moulded melamine for the spoon.
