keyhole

keyhole by daniele usuelli from italy

designer's own words:

the basic shape of this handle wants to keep the manufacturing process the simplest possible.
the core part of the handle is a unique cnc-cutted piece of brass with a satin chrome finish.
as you can see from the drawings, there are 13 little holes (of 3 mm in diameter), all around the edge of the core part of the handle, that correspond to 13 tips of the rubber protection part.
these little rubber tips will be wedged into the correspondent holes in order to anchor the rubber protection part to the core part of the handle. the rubber protection part could also be produced in different colours in order to meet the different needs of the client/designer.
the main part of the handle is fixed to the through squared pivot of 8x8 mm with a grub screw that is placed in the lower part of the handle, in order to be hided from the user.
