everyone knows that a kimono is all about quality fabric and beautiful design or pattern
being A SELF MADE CONCEPT, it WILL always be modern thanks to the pictures that are taken everyday in different corners of the planet
this concept is about applying the most beautiful pictures posted on this platform, to the fabric that the kimono will be made of.
now the kimono can be worn everyday becoming a digital
technology brought to real life united with a thousand years legacy including kimono to modern fashion
description of my concept
The main idea, is to unite two different but still legacy things of the present. The main idea is that we have a blank kimono and a platform which inludes millions and millions of beautiful pictures. Those two can be united creating an almost infinite and unique library of designs.
As printing any image taken from the instagram platform (can be own picturrs, pictures of friends, or any other pictures that are free of charge to use) on blank white fabric which the kimono will be made from, we can create a unique piece of wardrobe.
This is a huge library of designs and this brings the kimono to a whole new level in fashion.
