we propose an interior display that combines 2d and film projections, video mapping and music. the display requires 3 screens and an infiniti automobile. a central screen faces the viewer. 2 other screens stand at 45 degree angles to the right and left sides of the central one. an infiniti car stands obliquely in front of the central screen, directly in front of the viewer. film projection and 2d projection are utilized on each screen, and video mapping is used on the car. to start, the 3 screens are combined and used as one screen. the film begins with a black screen. a blue light leaks through the black screen. the light is emitted from a broken sculpture that is floating in the air. the sculpture represents “the wisdom.” soon, a man with an infiniti logo tattoo starts the car. the man’s name is infiniti. the real car’s headlights flash and interact with the screen. pieces of the sculpture, meaning “the wisdom,” are scattered across the left and right screens, corresponding to the sound which is generated by starting the car. now, the 3 screens start to be used separately. the central screen shows the world from infiniti’s point of view. infiniti is driving fast on the road. through mapping, paint is dropped on the real car’s roof. each time the paint drops, the car color changes. the change of color represents infiniti ending a life and starting a new one. each time paint is dropped using mapping, the real car interacts with the film on the central screen. on the left screen, pieces of the sculpture pass in a blur. Soon, the blurs can be recognized ashistorical events and characters such as george bush, world war II, and the september 11 attack.the left screen shows that time passes quickly and depicts the history that infiniti experienced by arraying historical events and characters. in contrast to the left screen, the images on the right screen move slowly. a finger curls around a trigger and pulls—bang. a man’s trembling hand grabs a woman’s hand tightly and puts a ring on her finger. the ring shines brightly. this screen shows a moment when a person feels emotion. all the emotions that Infiniti felt in his life, or drive, appear on the screen. on the central screen, infiniti slowly comes to a stop in front of “the wisdom.” the films displayed on both left and right screens dissolve. the three screens are once again one big screen. infiniti stands in front of the huge ‘wisdom.’ each fragment of the sculpture reflects one life. thousands of lives are reflected by the fragments and shine brilliantly. 3d graphics for the central screen were created using ‘cinema4d,’ while motion graphics for the left screen were made using ‘after effect.’ we shot our own film for the actual images for the right screen.
