saving the water in Mumbai using glass as the building material, as most of the monsoon rainfall water drains into the Arabian sea.we had taken the historic value of mangroves in relation to the evolution of Mumbai city and we came up with concept of water retained by the building which is international convention center in Mumbai where public could be experienced the value of water and methods /technologies to retain and guide water to percolate into the soil resulting increase in ground water table,VALUE OF MANGROVES CAUGHT THROUGH THE SPACIAL AND FUNCTIONAL QUALITIES ACHIEVED THROUGH GLASS AS INNOVATIVE MATERIAL FOR FEATURE GENERATION.mangroves function near the sea is also brought into the design.
