In the installation, we captured the micro-world of the Hong Kong Park and Hong Kong Visual Art Center. Let visitors experience how is the magnified image under the microscope. Give the visitors a different look at this place.
We transformed the microscope into a musical instrument. The sample collected just like a CD. Each set of installation will create different sound. We have 4 kind of instrument: rhythmic, melodic, chord and abstract. 4 different modes give visitors a total new and interactive experience in playing music.
The project built with openframeworks(OF) and Max/Msp. The exhibition opening performance:
