designer's own words:
moleskinerie will be a logo for the web so the first step was to think something with a squared shape like a monitor.
the name is divisible by 3 words and it’s easy to read skin in the middle, the soft surface of the famous notebook.
the “m” is rotate and the 2 “e” are reflected because they must communicate together, like a forum, like the moleskinerie blog!
the 2 lines are represent the book profile and all the world around moleskine is living inside this notebook.
in the corner there is the bookmark, another simbol of this famous diary.
