When lit from within, the ring appears like a crescent moon. According to the distance and position of a passer-by, the crescent will appear thicker or thiner, on the side or at the top inner part of the ring. This luminaire employs cool-white leds, located between the outer ring and the diffuser (the inner ring). The small leds and their flexibility are ideal for the slender shape of the ring and for providing even illumination.
