mr bloom a celebration of invention

designer's own words:

Mr. Bloom is a floor lamp with decent outlook. With the special gear mechanism which allows user to control the light intensity physically by pushing either up or down easily.

Since OLED light is a innovative invention for the lighting world, we try to celebrate the new technology by using a traditional mechanism. Both of them are being an important role to industrial in different centuries.

With the thin and light weight properties of a OLED light panel, we creates a elegant tilting movement in our light design by a set of precise gear mechanism. The simple movement creates a quiet scene like a picture of a blooming flower. The soft lighting of OLED allows us to design the floor lamp for two different light purposes: environment lighting and focus lighting.

This floor lamp is made out of metal with black powder coating. The all black color tone creates great contrast which can more emphasize the white OLED light.
