Cleaning in 2020 will mean : planning ahead, clearing your mind and digging for new inspiration.

Planning for the future; are you giving a party soon? Or do you have a lot of work to do in the near future? Or are you starting a new project immediately? Clear your mind, dig for more inspiration.

Focus on 1 flexible surface. Inside our home there will be a flat surface divided into a scheme that provides all daily activities. Every time we reorganize and resize our surface area’s we’ll discover more about ourselves. It’s a learning process in which we confront ourselves with what daily activities are more important and which are less. For example, do you want to increase your dinner area, your working space at home, or maybe your relaxing area. Maybe even every area gets the same size. Cleaning will trigger this process every time.

Anno 2005 we demand more and more from our home. Anno 2020 our home will demand more and more from us. On the surface there will be projections.The surface will, for example display a chessgame, a playground, a maze, a reallife game or a 360degrees projection, to play or to watch with our friends. Project your memo’s, project your micro-wave display or project other information you need on the surface.In 2020 projections will become more interactive or functional then we’d ever thought.They will take over tv-screens computer screens and displays of household appliances. It only needs time to develop. VJ’s and Web designers these days, will become the projection designers in 2020.
