OLED Sphere by JANECREATING from israel

Point of interest in this project was the OLED flexible panel. While searching for a visual representation of OLED characteristics, I came up with a sphere concept being the most efficient, universal shape having it all. Taking the 50mm wide flexible OLED panel as a starting point, I have created a spiral ribbon building up a three dimensional shape in a form of a sphere. The final outcome is a mood lamp design idea which can be further developed to a full scale working prototype using 3d printing techniques. The main structure is made of black strong plastic and is 30 cm in diameter. OLED flexible panel is fitted and attached into the rails of the structure. On/Off switch - white circular button located on the top of the sphere, while a battery can be hidden in the lower part of the sphere. A regular electrical cord can also be applied.
