Pervasive Ambience: Networked Tile System

Pervasive Ambience: Networked Tile System by caleb fung from usa

designer's own words:

Pervasive Ambience: Networked Tile System. Each tile is embedded with electrical wiring and connectors. When placed together, the tiles form an electrical network that can span throughout entire rooms. This eliminates the mess of cables and cords that would otherwise be present. Designed to work with these networked tiles are "node" tiles, which include: lighting tiles, heated tiles, flat speaker tiles, and LCD tiles. There are also node tiles that provide outlets, and dimmer switches that allow you to adjust brightness, warmth, and volume. These modular node tiles allow you to configure your space easily- bringing power, light, sound, heat, and information to wherever you please.
