designer's own words:

The project “Play” is an attempt to represent the writing/drawing process, a handling of a pen allowing ideas to flow from the mind onto paper. From the moment the creative process starts and the pen is touched the holder is also set in motion. To obtain this desired effect there is chosen for the primitive cone. A form derived from the symbol on the play-button of electrical appliances and software, being the ideal touch sensitive shape allowing a motion along a fixed axis without falling from the desk it lies on.

Production: injection moulding ABS plastic, moulding homogeneous composite material as Cristalplant or machining compound material as Corian, LG-Himacs.
