designer's own words:

the concept for this project was to start from a basic handle shape and change it meaningfully with the smaller sign. the top part of the tube handle has been eliminated, creating a flat surface on which the thumb can easily fit. the result is linear handle combining in the same shape strong edges and generous curves.
